To my friend, Jeff Cogan:

I miss you, Bud, and I am very sad that I won’t get to see you again.  I thought of you often and wished that we weren’t so far away from each other.  I always enjoyed your company and the times we that we shared.  You were always a comedic light for me.  I wonder how many times I laughed to tears because of you or things that happened when we were together.  On the serious side, you were someone (one of the few) that could help me out when I needed enlightening in your areas of expertise.  Thanks a lot for that!  I appreciated your points of view and we saw many things in the same way.  I can’t say that about too many people.  I wish that I could have done something or been there to prevent your very tragic loss.  I believe that you are in a better place and I hope to meet you there someday.

Your Friend, Jeff Benson
